This web site encompasses a selection of my work in the fields of art and photography over the last 25 years.

There are links to more information about specific areas of my work below.

I started out in underwater photography in the late 1970's after graduating in Marine Zoology
from the University of North Wales in Bangor. After winning many awards in this field
(it was easier in those days as there was not so much competition then)
I moved into more general reportage in the 1980's.

During this period I worked on a series of picture based feature for the likes of Geo,
Bunte, The Sunday Times, The Sunday Telegraph, The Observer Magazine,
The London Illustrated News, Avenue, Ca m'interesse, Life etc..

Most of my work was widely syndicated to other publications around the world.

In 1985 I was awarded a World Press Photo award for an Observer Magazine feature
on reclaiming gold from obsolete computers.

Whilst continuing on the reportage front I also moved into more commercial work in the late 1980's,
mainly Annual Report and Corporate Brochure work for large technology based plc's such as
Glaxo, Fisons, ICI, Bibby, and a series of Design Groups and Advertising Agencies.

During all this time I had been building up a library of stock images which by the early 1990's
enabled me to reduce client based work and move almost exclusively into stock production.
I worked in this field with Aspect Picture Library, Science Photo Library,
The Telegraph Colour Library, The Stock Market, Corbis and Getty until around 2002.

Since then I have been producing CGI and time-lapse footage in HD format
for distribution via Image Bank Film
